Sportsgirl black silk tee (similar here);  Forever New paperbag scalloped shorts;  Wittner leopard print ponyhair loafers;  House of Harlow double starburst necklace;  Mulberry black oversized Alexa;  Michael Kors rose gold chronograph watch;  Hermes clic clac;

This was yesterday's casual Friday outfit.  The shorts were maybe a bit too short for the office, but oh well.  Luckily my colleagues are pretty laid-back.  They're so comfortable too, it's almost like wearing pajama shorts.

In exciting news - the boy and I booked a trip to Thailand in August for 11 days.  I'm so excited, I haven't been overseas since the US in 2010 so I'm wayyyy overdue!  If anyone has any recommendations for what to do/where to shop/where to eat in Phuket and Bangkok let me know!

Don't forget to enter the Spreets voucher giveaway :)

  1. Love the shorts, is the belt/tie detachable? :)

    1. Thanks Jade! <3 yes it is, but as they're paperbag-waisted they'd fall off without the belt! :S I did get 2 sizes bigger than normal though so they'd be baggier x

  2. You look so polished and adorable! I am in love with those FN shorts, but the 10 is slightly too snug and the 12 is too big on me! Grrr. I like your idea of going a couple sizes bigger so they looks fashionably baggy, smart! x

  4. Aaahh I love the shorts! Awesome outfit. Woohoo Thailand! I went there in 2010, twas awesome! Check out Khaosan Road and the MBK shopping centre, they were my favourite places. Also if it helps we stayed at the Niras Bankoc boutique which was quite close to everything and had happy prices etc. You make me jealous with your holiday talk!

  5. In Bangkok I'd definitely go with the MBK centre, also the Paragon for designer labels, Silom Village for good quality knockoffs. The Patpong night markets are worth a visit also. In Phuket I suggest the Phuket city night markets but they're only on a Saturday or Sunday night and run from 8pm to 12am. They're the best an super cheap. I wouldn't shop at all in Phuket until I'd been there first. Get a taxi there, a good driver will wait for your for the return fare and it will cost you about $30 return, if that. Phyket seafood is awesome for food, so is a place called the Beach.

  12. So polished and chic. Scalloped shorts are on my list- they're so feminine. I just get shy about shorts.

  14. I love scalloped! I got my scalloped shorts from Urban Outfitters but I like yours as mine are too short (I don't think yours is inappropriate for work btw) and I like the casualness from the fit and the belt.
